IRCC announce a new pathway to reunite families and support Ukrainians:

Starting October 23, 2023, this new pathway will provide permanent residence to those who have fled Russia’s illegal invasion and want to stay in Canada.
Ukrainian nationals must be in Canada with temporary resident status and have one or more family members in Canada.

Those who are eligible include Ukrainian spouses, common-law partners, parents, grandparents, siblings and children or grandchildren of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.More details to come near the launch of the program.

Study authorization extended for work permit holder:

In this new 3-year temporary measure, foreign workers can study full time or part time while their work permits are valid or until the expiration of the policy, with no restrictions on the length of the program.
This temporary measure applies to those who hold a valid work permit or who have submitted an application to renew their work permit on or before June 7, 2023, and are authorized to work.
