More travel restrictions for travellers to Canada

Arrival is allowed only to 4 Airports Montreal, Toronto, Calgary & Vancouver. COVID test will be done and passenger will be using Government approved hotels on their expense till result is negative, then to quarantine at their home for 14 days. All tested positive passengers will be quarantined in a government facility for 14 days, and remain in it till tested negative. Having a negative COVID test prior arrival still in place.

A new policy to help former international students:

Today a new policy in place to help international students who hold an expired PGWP and not yet transitioning into PR status, to apply for an open work permit for 18 months to allow them to remain in Canada, continue to seek employment and build their future.

Parents & Grandparents Program 2020:

IRCC start sending invitations to apply for 2020 program. Only 10,000 applications will be accepted for the year 2020. Those who receive invitations to apply must submit their complete applications within 60 days.

Important Update: Effective January 7,2021:

Pre-departure PCR will become mandatory 72 hours prior to the traveller’s scheduled departure to Canada. PCR is the only acceptable test by Canada. Using ArriveCAN App and quarantine for 14 days both remain mandatory.

Violating any instructions provided when you enter Canada is an offence and could lead to up to six months in prison and/or $ 750,000 in fines. Stay safe everyone.

Temporary Residence Restoration Update:

Effective today January 1, 2021 an extension of public policy for visitors, students and workers with expired status between January 30,2020 and May 31, 2021 will have the chance to apply for status restoration till August 31,2021
