Study Permits – Off Campus Work:

IRCC both policies for off campus work clearly define off-campus work for full-time international students.

The first policy, effective from November 15, 2022, to April 30, 2024.

The second policy, effective from January 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024.

Breaking News: IRCC announces new measures for International Students:

IRCC announces new measures for:

– International Students including cap for 2024.

– Another layer of provincial attestation is needed before submitting a study permit.

– Starting September 1, 2024, international students who begin a study program that is part of a curriculum licensing arrangement will no longer be eligible for PGWP.

– Spousal open work permits will only be available to spouses of international students in master’s and doctoral programs. The spouses of international students in other levels of study, including undergraduate and college programs, will no longer be eligible.

IRCC announced a new humanitarian pathway for people affected by the conflict in Sudan:

To be eligible, applicants must be a child of any age, grandchild, parent, grandparent, or sibling of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is living in Canada. Their family connection in Canada will also need to agree to support them and help them build their new life in Canada.
